The Moo Milk is wonderful, whether from a can or pail. I use nothing else now that I’ve found it. 70 cal/cup and tastes MUCH better than any powdered nonfat milk.But I wanted to write about the pail, since I’ve seen questions and reviews about it. My own experience with 3 pails is a bit different. They each arrived in great condition, no product leaking out at all. Although reviews say the lids are hard to open, as long as you have a superpail lid lifter, these square lids are SO much easier to lift and to put back than the typical round superpail lids.Now – there is no mylar at all in the bucket. So I put 2 pails’ worth of milk powder in mylar bags with oxygen aborbers and store them in the cute little pails. BUT interestingly, both pails that I opened had oxygen absorbers that were not completely used up! (About 2/3 was rust solid pieces, 1/3 unused iron powder). The manufacture date was 8/22, 9 months ago. I’m not sure what this means other than I didn’t need to be in a hurry to repack it. I’m not convinced plastic without mylar will make anything last 20 years, but at least one year is doable. Maybe 2?

I love the storable quality of this milk. It will be there when my kids need it.
